We are getting things settled in our new house. Those of you that have visited us would not believe the difference in the size of the house. The inside is a lot smaller. We went from 4 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room, 3 1/2 baths, pantry, TV room upstairs and storage room under the stairs to 3 bedrooms ( 1 which we use as a pantry) and the other 2 are about the size of 1 of the bedrooms upstairs, living room about 1/3 the size of the other, kitchen (eat in since no dining room), 2 baths, no pantry, no TV room and no storage room. There are no closets nor kitchen cabinets like the other house. Things are just a lot smaller inside. BUT, We are blessed beyond our expectations. This new house has covered space all around it. We can still have our groups here to eat if they wish. We have a built-in churrasco (grill) in the back(covered). Laundry facilities have their own little room back there too. There is also a full bath in the back beside the laundry room. Also, there is a small storage room beside the laundry room for some of our supplies. We don't have a big table yet but we did bring the 4 big benches from the other house. We don't have any grass to cut either, but we have a few flowers for Jan to play with. Our phone, SAT TV, and internet is all hooked up and working. Well the internet is slow but working. So in other words we are getting settled. Things are different, but the same for anyone when they move.
NOW, We have only 2 groups this year. One in September and the other in October. It has been a very long year so far. We have become accustomed to 8 groups per year and when they don't come, it is just the 2 of us. We depend on our groups to help us do ministry. Our budget is so that it does not allow us to travel as we would like and the groups give us the opportunity to do this. Also when the groups come they always bring more than they use and we are able to share the "leftovers" with our churches. Hence, no groups no leftovers.
NOW IS THE TIME FOR YOU TO START FORMING YOUR GROUPS FOR 2011. WE NEED 8 GROUPS OR MORE. WE STILL HAVE MANY VILLAGES ON THE RIVER THAT HAVE NO EVANGELISTIC WORK. GOD IS STILL CALLING HIS OWN TO FOLLOW HIM AND REACH OUT TO THE LOST. COME AND EXPERIENCE MISSIONS FIRST HAND AND WE AND EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN HERE WILL AGREE THAT YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.
